Job Details:

Role: Data management and Business information analysis
Business Unit: Global Process Services Analytics
Work Location: Bangalore
Travel Expectation: Minimal

Key Responsibilities:
- The role requires the candidate to support the larger analytics business with the key focus on designing, collating, and disseminating information and analysis to the business leaders.
- The selected candidate will need to develop the various MIS reports required covering critical aspects of the business like Revenue, Resource planning, RESO, P&L analysis among others
- The candidate should work with the various team and vertical leaders to collate information, devise processes/timeliness to ensure that information is flowing through efficiently
- The candidate will also work with the biz ops leader in leading / preparing/auctioning points post the weekly/monthly/quarterly GPS analytics governance calls
- He/she will also work closely with the senior business leaders to provide information and analysis required
- The candidate will play an important role in the overall planning function of the unit and will need to work with the biz ops leader in achieving the desired results/goals
- In addition, the candidate will also need to handle independently miscellaneous responsibilities related to sales qualifications, sales incentives etc

Essential Skills:
- An understanding of the business and its levers is of crucial importance as this understanding will drive the reporting
- A highly self driven motivated person with focus on “attention to detail” and accuracy
- The candidate, should be able to drive on a regular basis, information flows from the various segments in an efficient and timely manner;
- A skill to build interconnected excel spreadsheets with macros/ direct building of required databases will be an added advantage;
- A high level of maturity and ability to mange the aggressive business needs with multi-tasking and importantly un-biased approach to support the role.
- Ability to undertake tough conversations, do push backs, ensure compliance and yet effectively manage the business needs thus a constructive conflict management.
- Ability to plan ahead of the road for in-time business preparedness to tackle aggressive timelines and bottlenecks in the system.
- Maintaining confidentiality of information gathered, analysis done and decisions taken is an important requirement
- Ability to stretch, work with positive and proactive attitude, be self driven and think objectively and smartly to support the dynamic business needs.

Qualification & Desired Candidate Experience:

- MBA from a recognized university.
- Prior experience in similar role in a large company is a must.. Financial management knowledge and experience, business acumen and understanding of the P&L and its components.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present coherently and intelligently in presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely

Job Description:

The Marketing Automation Data Quality Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that the data inputs into our marketing systems is accurate for downstream reporting. The role includes auditing, analysis, reporting, and recommending areas that require improvements: end user skills, best practices in using our tools, system enhancements, proactive issue resolution. Skills needed include the ability to understand system linkages, data flow between systems, end user processes, root cause analysis, and the ability to collaborate with others to monitor whether the recommended actions are addressing the issue. Audit data in the planning tools to compare to actuals


LDR

Ensure Siebel opty number is recorded on response record in Affinium
Leads if response is closed out with status 'Opportunity Created'
Ensure sub statuses align to reason for closing
Ensure Scope of transaction is adhered during LDR follow-up

System

Monitor system tracking of offer attributes and preferences on responses
Ensure folder structure is accurate and up to date

The selected candidates would be joining the HP GBS ANALYTICS division in Bangalore as Reporting Analysts/Business Analysts / Analytics Consultants. They would work across HP and non HP businesses on various analytical projects in the areas of Sales/ Marketing/ CRM/ Supply Chain.

The typical engagements would involve designing and developing dashboards, scorecards and reports, drill down/deep dive analysis of data related to units, orders, revenue, shipments, leads, campaigns, promotions, budgets, forecasts, opportunity identification for installed base etc from various internal databases as well as data related to brand tracking, media and marketing effectiveness analysis, etc through external data sources so on and so forth.

Selected resources are expected to conceptualize the analytical methodology for business problems, provide strategic and operational data-based insights to business management group on a regular basis and achieve business impact. The selected candidates are also expected to manage communication rhythm with key stakeholders on regular basis.


Skills requirement:

· Post graduate degree in Business Administration with Sales or Marketing or Media Specialization
· 2 to 5 years of experience in data analytics /research industry in reporting or strategic analysis of marketing data / information
· Should be able to provide business insights based on the data/information analysis and proven ability to articulate the same.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
· Superior working knowledge of databases
· Experience in extracting and analyzing reports from standard OLAP tools like Business Objects, Cognos, SAS etc, or customized OLAP tools
· Strong competency in Microsoft Office packages – Access (Intermediate), Excel (Intermediate to advance. Eg. All built-in excel functions, macros), PowerPoint, Word. Knowledge of MS Project will be an added advantage.
· Inclination & experience towards report automation. Basic macro/VBA skills.
· Ability to scale up to performing analytics based on statistical and predictive models
· Experience of working in outsourcing environment and exposure to working in global teams.
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent client management and project management skills
· Experience of working in team and good attitude towards team work.
