Required Experience:

5 -8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL & IT operation with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices

Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments

Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques

Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices

Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives

Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Technical documentation skills

Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language

Self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Good written and oral communication skills

Experience with finance domain is added advantage

Opening @ Hewlett Packard (HP) for Architect Role for MSSQL

We are looking for professionals who are having excellent Knowledge MS SQL

Skill set/ JD

Specifically, work the pre-ITO DBA team in Con-way used to do included:

• Writing PL/SQL functions, packages, triggers, etc.

• Analyzing DDL changes (the DBAs were the “final judge” of DDL)

• Providing deployment scripts

• Owning the push of code from dev/test to production – in some cases, app teams do not have credentials to deploy prod code

• In many cases, the work was very iterative – helping the app team develop code, working with them to understand what can/can’t/should/shouldn’t be done, etc.
