Position: Senior Research Developer
This is a senior, visible position, leading the efforts of our SML Research (Social Media Labs). It requires hands on and in depth work experience. The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Drive the research organization that drives application research
Define business objectives for the team
Translate business goals into research goals
Define research process and tools required for research
Job Requirement
1 to 5 years of relevant experience in application research like HTTP, Facebook/Linkedin/Twitter API, Adware, or other such areas
Should have excellent understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DPI (Deep Packet Inspection, good hands-on on tools like tcpdump/wireshark/ethereal) and how applications use them.

- Proven ability to identify sources for application search

- Must be an engineering graduate from any premier college/university with excellent consistent academic background
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience in dealing with business managers.
- Highly goal oriented and ability to define processes for scaling the research processes for a team of researchers
- Highly organized and ability to define and collect metrics to handle a large inventory of tasks.
