Title: IT Engineer / Analyst
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Responsibilities:
- Work with x-functional teams to deploy Telepresence end point, Surveillance infrastructure & Visitor Badging solution into Cisco lobbies.
- Configure CUCM for enabling the Telepresence end points.
- Develop use cases and overall interaction flow between visitors and lobby attendants that utilize Cisco TelePresence for assisting visitors.
- Work with operations & infrastructure team to deploy Cisco servers into data centers.
- Conduct feasibility and feedback sessions with the Virtual Assistants to continuously improve and scale the TelePresence solution.
- Provide end-to-end technical support during operational phase of the solution.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco IP Surveillance, and Cisco Contact Center, Unix/LINUX platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- BS Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years experience implementing and support enterprise-level IT applications.
- Strong team player and also self-motivated to reach team goals/objectives.
Desirable Skills:
- Working knowledge of audio/video technology and related protocols.
- Project Management experience in cross-functional enterprise IT environment.
- Previous experience working on Cisco internal and/or external web-based applications.
- Installation, configuration and support of legacy/H.323-compatible audio/video end-points.
- Working knowledge of Cisco networking products and associated technologies (i.e. Security, TCP/IP, SNMP, Firewall, traffic sniffing, etc.).
- MS Computer Science.
