Requirement: Technical Lead (C++)

Technical / Functional:
• 7+ years experience in software development environment desirable.
• Strong experience in windows development (Windows API, UI, infrastructure) using C++, .Net and C#.
• Strong experience in higher level-programming paradigm. E.g. COM/ DCOM and Web Services.
• Experience writing Web Services applications is highly desirable.
• Experience with Internet development (HTML/JavaScript, HTTP, Web servers)
• Experience with database development (SQL, Database servers)
• Expert in use and principles of development tools, such as IDEs, source control, debuggers, bug tracking systems.
• Expert with debugging and problem solving skills
Job Description
The position requires an experienced software engineer who will be part of eDocs Document Management development team, and be responsible for the following development tasks: design complex components, create precise development specifications, implement specifications and corresponding unit tests, produce accurate work estimates, perform maintenance on software, and articulate technical documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for full software life cycle (SLC) of various software products in the eDocs Document Management system.
• Design and Develop robust and responsive user interfaces for client/server applications in C++ and C#.
• Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
• Assists QA in developing test plans and tests that will effectively verify correct software operation.
• Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
• Produces precise documentation describing product and sub-systems architectures.
• Develop and re-factor code for high performance and scalability.
• Ability to coordinate and lead developmental activities with a team of developers.
