Urgent Requirement :PHP/PERL/LAMP :Bangalore : Interview on 06.08.09

The JOB DESCRIPTION is given below :

o 6+ years of Programming Experience (4+ years on Linux)
o Designing and developing web-based applications using the LAMP Stack
o Deploying and managing web-sites
o Good communication skills (spoken and written)
o Actual work involves writing small amounts PHP Code
o Majority of the work involves integration of WordPress plugins
o Profile is closer to an Tech Lead than a Dev Lead

Skills required:
o Solid design skills (problem decomposition, application design and basic usability)
Note: A person with only PHP programming skills is probably not a good candidate for this job. Ideally the person will have strong Perl and/or Python skills.

o Sound fundamentals of programming

o Knowledge of basic system security (encryption, certificates, etc)

o Good knowledge of basic programmer tools (editors, command-line environments, source control, remote shell sessions, etc)

o Troubleshooting skills (particularly over network applications, e.g web-service debugging)

o Some knowledge of database development and basic database management

o Some knowledge of developing scalable web applications
