Job Position: L3 Support Engineer
Location: Bangalore, India

Level III (L3) Support Engineer

Job Description
The Level 3 Support Engineer is a member of the engineering team whose primary responsibility is to act as a liaison between the L1/L2 (business) and L4 (developer support) and would also be responsible for case resolution/routing. Will need to work with dependent application support teams. Will also be responsible for escalating cases appropriately and managing L4 support engineers.

Candidate will perform role of dedicated Support Engineer.
Role is dedicated support function providing reactive technical support.
Provide second line phone/email consultation to independently debug complex product problems.
Provide support on a world-wide basis as needed.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Ability to work independently, as the position only receives minimal supervision with no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.
Applies known solutions to solve problems.
Typically interfaces with L1/L2 Support Engineers, Product Managers and internal engineering team.

Skills Required
The following technical skills are required:
networking experience,providing support on networking(preferably CISCO products)
web application experience(XML/HTML/Javascript etc)
knowledge on JAVA
CCNA must
