Job Description:
This individual will provide development and operational infrastructure support for mission critical Web & MQ messaging based business applications. The candidate should be able to demonstrate expertise in the areas of optimization and management of Web/Application servers (IBM WebSphere) and high performance J2EE based applications. Experience in supporting three tired, external facing applications is required.
The individual will be responsible for successfully resolving application problems encountered in production system within a constrained period of time. This will involve carrying pagers 24/7 and will require the skills to isolate and resolve production issues.
Individual must have strong knowledge of Web & MQ based applications on multiple platforms, UNIX/Linux/Intel systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of MQ based systems
- WebSphere Application Server
- WPS (Websphere Portal)
- Experience with Web Services, XML
- Enterprise Java Beans, design and implementations
- Java Servlets and JSPs
- Web based application development
- Web Servers ( WebSphere certification )
- Database Knowledge ( Oracle, SQLServer, etc.)
- Heterogeneous operating systems ( UNIX, Linux, NT)
- Candidate must be a good team player, have excellent verbal and written skills and have mentoring experience.
Years of exp: 4 to 7 yrs only
