Positions: Perl Developer/Perl with Web Developer/Project Manager
Experience Required: - 3.6 - 12 Yrs

Extremely strong perl 5.8+; object oriented module design, CPAN knowledge,
Strong source code control discipline: subversion, CVS, RCS or SCCS
Strong experience of Unix build environments & debugging; GCC, make and ldd
Good SQL development/performance tuning; Oracle, Sybase, PostgreSQL or MySQL
Experienced in development methodologies, or certified: CSSLP, OWASP, Agile SDL or TDD
Knowledge of Unix administration/development/scripting: Solaris, Linux, POSIX and ksh/csh
Knowledge of security tool: tcpwrappers, sudo, SSH and SSL

Additional Skills Desirable:
Knowledge of DHTML design; AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Apache, mod_perl
Experience managing large scale distributed computing environments (Unix, Windows, etc)
Experience with automated software security testing tools, defensive programming techniques
Experience of creating/utilising automated unit tests
Experience developing client/server applications
Experience performing 3rd party code review, improvement or support
Experience of formal code review tools (Rietveld, Review Board, Code Striker, etc)
Experience of working with commercial security tools: FW1, PIX, IDS/IPS, Vontu, ESM, Boks, eTrust, etc.
Experience of working in incident response or disaster recovery roles
Experience of working in InfoSec or Risk management roles (auditor, pen testing, etc)
Experience working in Unix or Database support roles
Additional development languages: Python, Ruby, C
Unix application packaging tools; Solaris pkgadd, Linux rpm, etc.

Excellent technical knowledge gained from a hands on role within a global organisation. Skills must be current and include;
Minimum of 2 years' experience of unix/database experience in a commercial environment
Minimum of 4 years Perl development

Personal: Self-starter with ability to acquire new skills autonomously
Willingness to be self critical, assess deficiencies in code or process and propose solutions
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
